What's Your Curl Type?

WAVY HAIR

Loose curls are classified as Type 2A 2B 2C; As 2A tends to have a light S pattern and tends to straighten easily , 2B & 2C have stronger S formation and they incline to be on the frizzy side.

Recommended Haircut: Ouidad or Classic Curly Cut (you can book either on it’ll be decided upon consultation) Recommended Hair

Products: Ouidad “Playcurl” and for wavier hair “Vital Curl”

Shampoo & conditioner twice a week oil shampoo hydrating mask once a week

CLASSIC CURLY HAIR

This curl type has more definition and the s pattern goes from upper case S to lower case s. Since the natural oil coming from the scalp gets disrupted in the loop this type of hair gets extremley dry.

Recommended Haircut: Ouidad or Classic Curly Cut (you can book either on it’ll be decided upon consultation)

Recommended Hair Products: Ouidad “Vital Curl” for tighter pattern “Curl Quencher” or Curl Bliss “Pure Awakening”

Recommended Hair Care: Shampoo & conditioner twice a week oil shampoo hydrating mask once a week

TIGHT CURLS

Kinky curl has a super tight s form or a zigzag curl which we call the Z pattern. Since the curls are so tight, it’s harder for the scalp oil to reach to the length of the strand and moisturize the whole hair. Kinky curly hair struggles to absorb moisture, leaving it prone to breakage. This is a very delicate hair so it needs to be treated with the highest care.
